Denise Lam

Vice-President Finance (Federal and Provincial)
Denise is the current federal President of the Toronto Centre Young Liberals and was previously the VP Finance for two terms.  She also sits on the executive of the Ontario Young Liberals as the Treasurer.  Denise’s interests include: immigration policy, foreign affairs, public finance, and the Green Energy Act.

Denise is also recent graduate from Glendon College, York University’s bilingual campus, in Economics and presently works as an assistant to a Member of Parliament.

Yvonne Leung

Yvonne is currently an undergrad student at the University of Toronto, majoring in Political Science and Canadian Studies. Her interests include Canadian federalism, democratic reform, and environmental politics, as well as graphic design and new media.

As Director of Communications for the Toronto Centre Young Liberals, Yvonne is responsible for the creation and maintenance of TCYL’s online presence, as well as graphic/promotional materials for TCYL’s projects and events.

Michael Raybould

Michael grew up in the east end of Toronto and is currently attending Oasis Alternative Secondary School. In addition to being Vice President Provincial for the Toronto Centre Young Liberals, he is currently the Alternative School Student Representative for the Toronto District School Board’s SuperCouncil.

Michael has been interested in politics since he was about 9 years old and joined the Liberal Party after campaigning for Bob Rae in the 2008 federal election. His interests include environmental protection and education.

Patrick is a high school student and the Provincial Policy Director for the Toronto-Centre Young Liberals. His interests include international relations, environmental policy, the classics, and dance.
Angela DeOcampo

Taras Koulik
Director of Fundraising (Federal and Provincial)
Taras has completed an B.Comm, with Honours, from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Taras is currently working for a top level firm in Management Consulting and has traveled extensively in Europe and North America. His interests include Global and environmental politics, debate, travel and the Capital Markets.

As Director of Fundraising for the Toronto Centre Young Liberals, Taras is responsible for the creation and management of TCYL’s fundraising campaign, including organization and follow through of all TCYL’s fundraising projects and events.

Max Naylor

Max is a Grade 11 student at Northern Secondary School, where he is involved in theatre, debating and student council. Outside of school, Max is involved in the Canadian Youth Assembly, as leader of the Liberal Youth faction.

Max is also the Director of Social Affairs (Federal) for the Toronto-Centre Young Liberals and looks forward to serving his community through the Liberal Party, helping to defeat the Harper government.

Chris Drew
Past-President (Ex-Officio, Non-Voting)
Chris Drew graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Chris was one of the founding members of the Toronto Centre Young Liberals and was the TCYL (Federal) President from 2005 to 2009.

Chris has also been active in Toronto Centre for many years through his work as a constituency assistant for the Hon. Bill Graham, and as a member of the Toronto Centre Federal and Provincial Liberal Associations. Policy is one of Chris’ passions and served as the Ontario Young Liberals Policy Director from 2008 to 2009. Chris is currently the Executive Director of the Toronto Centre Provincial Liberal Association, and a dedicated supporter of the Hon. Bob Rae and the Hon. George Smitherman.

Chris’ policy interest include transportation, affordable housing, closing Gould Street, cycling, camping and using social media networks for policy discussions. Chris’ non-Liberal work includes sitting on as a board member on the non-profit organization Neighbourhood Information Post.
