TCYL Secret Santa and Executive Meeting
- New to TCYL this year will be a Secret Santa! If you don’t know what Secret Santa is, here’s the deal: everyone draws a name out of a hat for a fellow TCYL member and then buys them a gift. We will then exchange the gifts at a social event in December. The price limit should be around $15.00.
We can also have a short Executive Meeting at this time.
Model Parliament and OYL on ICE
- Model Parliament will take place on Friday, January 16th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Chris is one of the lead organizers for the event so he is expecting a strong turn out from TCYL! If you have never attended in the past, please contact him for all the details.
On Saturday, January 17th, from 10AM to 4PM, “OYL on ICE” will take place at the University of Toronto. We will have guest speakers, have policy workshops, and hopefully have the leadership candidates for a question and answer session. We also will try to organize skating somewhere.
Ontario Young Liberal Annual General Meeting

Mark your calenders, the OYL AGM will take place from Friday, January 30th to Sunday, February 1st. The location will potentially be Ottawa but this has yet to be confirmed. The OYL AGM will select a new executive for the 2009-2010 year.
Toronto Liberal Festivus
- The Ryerson and University of Toronto Young Liberals are hosting a holiday charity social on Friday, December 12th at the Duke of York Pub (39 Prince Arthur Ave). Come get together with everyone from UofT, Ryerson and the greater Toronto region to celebrate the holiday season!
