The Toronto Centre Young Liberals are hosting the Annual Winter TCYL Fundraiser on Tuesday, January 22nd from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the Foxes Den Bar & Grill (1075 Bay St.). The Hon. Bob Rae and the Hon. George Smitherman will be our special guests!
Tickets for adults are $20 and tickets for youth are $15.

Come hear from and meet the Hon. George Smitherman and the Hon. Bob Rae! George Smitherman is the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care for the province of Ontario and has been elected to represent Toronto Centre since 1997. Bob Rae, former Premier of Ontario, is the chairperson of Liberal Party of Canada’s platform committee and is the Liberal candidate in Toronto Centre.
In addition, we have just confirmed a SURPRISE SPECIAL GUEST! This is definitely NOT an event to miss!
Proceeds of the Fundraiser
All proceeds will go to TCYL and will be used to support the club’s mandate of policy development, community outreach and recruitment, community volunteering, youth social events, attending LPC(O) and OLP conventions and policy sessions, and encouraging youth to volunteer for Toronto Centre Liberal events. Sufficient financial resources are critical to having a successful youth club!
In 2006-2007 TCYL held a successful fundraiser that provided resources for TCYL members to make an active contribution to the Liberal Party and our community, a fact recognized by our award of the Best Riding Club in Ontario as voted by our peers in the Ontario Young Liberals.
We would be grateful if you could attend so that we can continue to have an active club again in 2008!
